[Photo's] - Experimenting With Macro Photography

I've been wanting to get into macro photography for quite some time now. The following images are my first attempts. Both photos were taken using a Canon 50mm 1.8 lens attached to the camera with a few macro extension tubes. As of writing this post I have not purchased a macro lens. I've found that the extension tubes tend to distort the image and produce results that are rather fuzzy. I can only get better with practice and who knows, perhaps i'll buy a proper macro lens in the near future.

As always any feedback is appreciated.

"Time - Part 1" - "Gone and Still Forgotten" 10/8/15

Here is another addition to my photo series "Time - Part 1". I was trying to recreate an image I saw in a book I was reading, with my own personal touch of course. In order to pull this off I ended up building my own floor, and after a few days of work I ended up with the following image. It's meant to look like the floor of an abandon building, with a pocket watch sitting on it. Any other meaning is totally up to the viewer.

If interested you can purchase this along with the other images in "Time - Part 1" at the following link

Let me know what you think. I hope you all enjoy. I only have one more photo planned for this series so definitely look foreword to that. In the meantime enjoy.

[Photo] 3/24/15 Out of Place II.

This idea came into my head out of the blue. I thought to myself "You know what would be cool, shoes on that old staircase in the basement." Than after a few minutes of throwing stuff on the ground this happened. I definitely need to work on the composition of this one some more, but for all intents and purposes its a pretty cool snapshot. Who knows maybe I can use it as a base for something else.
